These are the top stories in this issue: 

Military developments: RSF advances into central Sudan and SAF bombs Nyala and Gezira. The RSF appears to be consolidating its position in its newly acquired territory in Gezira state. SAF has conducted bombings in both Nyala and Gezira. 

Impacts of RSF control in Wad Medani. Following the RSF taking control of the town, there has been widespread looting and disruption of humanitarian aid. 

The role of Islamists. Islamists are taking an increasingly prominent position and public position against Burhan and cracking down on pro-democracy activists.
